Your daily ritual

Three things, every day

That's really the whole thing. Keep these three steady and the results come.

01
One pump

Small dogs (under 25 lbs): 1 mL. Medium (25-75 lbs): 2 mL. Large (over 75 lbs): 3 mL. Over the morning feed.

02
Fresh water

Topped up, every morning. Collagen rebuilding is a water-heavy process — hydration is half the work.

03
Daily walk

Twenty minutes or more, on soft ground where possible. Joints need movement to use what you give them.

What to expect

The months ahead

How this unfolds for most dogs on the daily pump. Individual timing varies.

1 Month
The Routine
The daily pump becomes part of the morning. The first collagen reaches the joints.
2 Month
First Signals
Morning stiffness eases. The pause at the stairs shortens. The coat begins to feel softer.
3 Month
Visible Change
The groaning on getting up quietens. Climbing stairs becomes easier. The coat catches the light again.
4 Month
Deeper Rebuild
Joint comfort stable day to day — not just on good days. Skin flakiness reduced.
5+ Month
A New Dog
The reluctance is gone. Movement looks like it used to years ago. The dogs that benefit most are the ones whose owners simply didn't miss days.
Consistency beats intensity — every single time.

"She hasn't moved like this in two years. Up the stairs on her own, waiting at the door for the walk. I didn't think we'd see this again."

"The itching stopped around week three. Coat is thicker, shinier — the groomer actually asked what we'd changed. Six months in and still improving."

"At eleven she's back on the full morning walk. No more groaning when she stands up. Our vet asked what we were doing differently — I told her."

Common questions

Everything you might be wondering

Most dog parents report first subtle changes between week 2 and week 3 — softer coat, slightly less morning stiffness. Visible mobility improvements typically land around month 1 and deepen through months 2 and 3. Individual dogs vary — breed, age and starting condition all matter. The honest answer is always: give it a full 90 days.

Yes. The formula is dosed by weight — small dogs (under 25 lbs) get 1 mL, medium (25-75 lbs) get 2 mL, large (over 75 lbs) get 3 mL. All ingredients are safe for every breed. If your dog has a specific condition or is on medication, check with your vet before starting (as with any supplement).

One pump over the morning feed, every day. The liquid absorbs into the food — most dogs don't notice it's there. If your dog is sensitive to new tastes, start with half a pump for the first few days and work up.

In almost all cases, yes — the ingredients are naturally occurring compounds the body uses to build connective tissue. But if your dog is on any prescribed medication for joint, skin, or immune conditions, run it past your vet first. We'd rather you ask than guess.

Three things. First, chews are heat-processed, which denatures 60-80% of the collagen before it ever reaches your dog. Our cold-pressed liquid preserves the full molecular structure. Second, we include all three collagen types (I, II, III) — most chews only have Type I. Third, we include the right cofactors (vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, MSM) at proper doses, not trace amounts.

The Daily Buddy is formulated for dogs 1 year and older. Puppies produce their own collagen in surplus and don't need supplementation. Check with your vet if you have a specific developmental concern.

Yes — in fact, senior dogs are where the formula earns its keep. By age 9+, dogs have lost close to half their body collagen. Steady supplementation makes a visible difference in mobility, coat quality and recovery. Many of our longest-standing customers started with dogs in their senior years.

One 50 mL bottle lasts a small dog around 50 days, a medium dog around 25 days, and a large dog around 17 days. A subscription delivery is timed to arrive just before you run out, so there's no gap in the routine.

Hydrolysed Type I & III Collagen (900 mg), Undenatured Type II Collagen UC-II (40 mg), Hyaluronic Acid (50 mg), MSM (400 mg), and Vitamin C. Collagen is sourced from bovine. No grain, no soy, no artificial flavours or preservatives, no fillers. The full ingredient list is on the bottle and on the product page.

Any time, in two clicks, from your account page — no email, no phone call, no awkward "are you sure" screens. Pause for a month if you're travelling, skip a delivery, cancel outright. It's your subscription.

Give it the full 90 days. If after that you haven't seen the changes we talked about, write to us at hello@thedailybuddy.com and we'll make it right. We're confident in the formula because we see what happens when dog parents stick with the routine.
